Customer service is Crap. It takes two days to get a response. My site is now down. Can't access it. I get no answer from support. I would like to see these mothers go down. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Host admits it is their fault but asks for patience. How about 8 weeks being off-line. Have asked for a refund but have received no response. There is not phone number to call. Company located in Canada so I am concerned about legal recourse. However, I noticed that you can't manipulate font style (you can't embed fonts you downloaded and are not on standard computers). My site looks great on my computer, but when I use someone else's it only shows plain fonts. To have fonts of your choice requires font.eot files, and to upload and embed these, you will need to pay for the service. Otherwise, a recommended server. Their free hosting site is not very good(because of the banners and the pop-ups) but its a worth to get YOUR own site (paying, of course). I'll stick with its tools and I have like more than 5 from bravenet!! It also offers competitively priced alternatives. In addition, they have great site builders to assist one with building their site, AND if you choose not to use a site builder they provide impeccable online education for HTML, Java scripts, and the like. As if all that isn't enough, they also have great additions you can add to your site whether it free or paid for like: Site counters, Web forums, weblogs, and much more. These guys are more than just businessmen, they are innovators of the industry. Check them out! I must add another negative: There daily transfer limit makes my bravenet site unsatisfactory for much of what I want to post. Poor Customer Service, Unreliable Web HostingReviewer: Sam Singapore 04-03-2008 Bravenet web hosting sucks, recently all my web sites were suspended due to I violated one of their policy. I contacted the live support and the operator scolded me, and disconnected me from its live support. I opened a support ticket and it has been weeks, a reply was not given back to me. I am now getting a follow up with my lawyer to deal with bravenet to get back the refunds. PLEASE DO NOT EVER USE BRAVENET, THEY SUCKS |
